DON MACAVOY

My main inspiration for photography came from my love of nature and the outdoors. I began shooting scenes while hiking or skiing and, once I became enamored with what I could communicate through a single image, I started to shoot everything. Inspiration became a whole new thing once I started school at Rowan University, where I was surrounded by like-minded people who inspired me. The professors and my fellow art students provided the stimuli I needed every day to push myself further. Now that I've graduated with my BFA from Rowan, I hope to venture into more amazing places in this country and the world and bring a unique lens to each one I visit.
